RULES
The following page has the YBC constitution and club rules. These are only our club rules, we also have to abide by B.T.B.A rules, which are many and varied. There are far more than most people would exspect for tenpin bowling, its not just chuck the ball at the pins.
Club Constitution
Purpose of the club
Rollers Youth Bowling Club exists to INSTRUCT young bowlers, between the ages of 8 and under 18 , so that they can potentially become better league, county and international standard bowlers, and to promote the sport of tenpin bowling amongst young people.
Club Rules
1. Rollers youth bowling club will follow all B.T.B.A and N.A.Y.B.C rules.
2. Rollers youth bowling club prospective members require a proposer and a seconder in order to join the club. These must be current members or committee members of Rollers youth bowling club.
3. A joining fee will be levied for all new members.
4. The serving committee reserves the right to refuse membership.
5. A weekly membership fee of £1 will be levied each week that a session is held, regardless weather the bowler attends or not. No actual fee for the bowling will be paid if the bowler does not attend.
The only exception to this is if the bowler is entered into a B.T.B.A sanctioned competition or county/ international training.
6. Every member will abide by B.T.B.A dress and behavior code which is:-
no denim or jeans of any kind
Members will wear the Rollers youth bowling club shirt
No foul language or angry actions while in the YBC's care
7. Members failing to abide by the rules will be cautioned, and if it persists, can be banned from the club for up to 3 years.
